Dysport/Xeomin

First, you will consult with Dr. Bawa either in our office or virtually, regarding your concerns and reasons for considering neuromodulators. Dr. Bawa will examine you, recommend the right treatments, and then schedule your procedure. Patients often receive their injections on the same day as their consultation at our luxurious office in Boca Raton.

Dr. Bawa will first apply a numbing medication to the areas of injection. From there, she will carefully inject precise amounts of product into the regions specified. Because of Dr. Bawa’s skill, the process will be rapid and practically painless. Dr. Bawa injects tiny amounts of product directly into your lines. This injection technique, which is commonly referred to as micro-Botox® or meso-Botox®, can also be performed using Dysport® and Xeomin®. As a result, your face looks refreshed and has fewer wrinkles, but it still moves naturally and beautifully. There is absolutely no reason why your face should look frozen or like a caricature with toxin.

Dysport® and Xeomin® do not require any downtime. However, you may have some mild swelling at the injection sites. Dr. Bawa also advises that you not exercise or get in hot tubs for at least 2 days after your treatment. Patients typically see results develop over the next week, but those who choose Dysport® may see their results appear in as little as 3-5 days. Results usually last from 3-6 months, although this will vary from patient to patient. While some patients schedule touch-up appointments before an important event, the majority of our patients maintain a routine of Dysport® or Xeomin® every 3 to 4 months
