The term “cryo” is short for “cryotherapy,” which refers to a rejuvenation method that has been effective for many years. Cryotherapy consists of extreme cold applied to a particular area of the body for several minutes to elicit a response. What Can I Expect During a CryoFacial™ Treatment?

While you sit back and relax, Dr. Bawa will use a specialized wand to safely cover your facial skin with cold vapor on the targeted areas. The skin will drop to the temperature that is most ideal for stimulating the desired response. Treatments are convenient, comfortable, and only take several minutes to complete. Your treatment will end with a CryoFacial treatment. We offer two types, one that consists of a soothing facial mist with chamomile and lavender, and another with growth factor to boost lackluster skin. Some patients like to use these treatments before parties as they are anti-inflammatory and reduce puffiness.

What Aftercare is Needed with a CryoFacial™?

Due to the noninvasive nature of the procedure and Dr. Bawa’s skill, no downtime is required after a CryoFacial™ treatment. Many of our patients complete the process on a lunch break and immediately resume their daily activities. Dr. Bawa will provide you with specific aftercare instructions, if necessary.

When Can I See My CryoFacial™ Results?

Our patients often notice their CryoFacial™ results immediately, and these improvements should continue as your body develops more collagen and elastin.
